Obstacles & Fields of Fire. The Nile River Valley has tight village clusters, walls, and tree lines that limit long-range fire. Open fields give intermittent sightlines, while the river forms a major obstacle for vehicles and forces predictable crossing points.
Avenues of Approach. Movement follows the main roads running along the Nile, with smaller farm tracks offering limited flanking routes. Irrigation ditches, canals, and soft fields slow off-road travel, making bridges and road junctions key control points.
Key Terrain. Hills overlooking the valley provide wide viewing angles of towns, fields, and road networks. River crossings, central villages, and elevated positions dominate movement throughout the valley.
Cover and Concealment. Tree lines, crop fields, canals, and dense compound networks offer solid concealment for infantry. Vehicles remain exposed in open ground and depend on walls, terrain folds, and vegetation belts for protection.

Size. Enemy elements are dense in numbers, with any civilian capable of being an enemy combatant
Capabilities. Enemy weaponry includes old Soviet bloc weaponry, from AKMs and PKMs to sparse M16s and M249s. RPGs and mounted emplacements are common sights. Enemy armor is heavily limited to makeshift technicals and poorly maintained Soviet light armor.
Recent Activity. The enemy has been largely growing in number and actively fighting the UN presence in the region.
Expected Course of Action. Enemies are likely to defend their positions and inflict maximum damage on Allied Forces before retreating to other positions.

POI001 is a small town on the western edge of the Nile River. A convoy is expected to pass through from the west road and head east over the recently constructed bridge, carrying supplies, sustainment resources, and one Field Training Officer, Osumane Kikaya. Following his escape from BLUFOR forces, he is being redeployed from his combat outpost to begin training new militia soldiers.
POI002 is an outpost on the outcropping of Nazar Bay, containing multiple AAA emplacements and a recently obtained Soviet P-37 Radar. It is suspected that numerous militia hideouts exist inside the city, housing lower-level soldiers from the military base to the south.
POI003 is a grouping of outposts surrounding a military base, housing soldiers from posts throughout the west bank of the Nile. Inside the military base is a suspected cache of top-secret documents pertaining to locations and information on key Militia leadership.
Sustainment
Ammunition & Reinsertion will be provided by 160th SOAR assets or via ground ferry. No reinsertions will be brought in via teleportation, except for technical issues.
