    Operation Point Blank

    Execute: 03/29/2026

    Task Organization: 10RR

    Subsets: NEPTUNE, TF APOLLO

    1. Situation
      1. Area of Interest - AO Beryllium
        1. Terrain Everon, Croatia
          1. Obstacles & Fields of Fire. Everon features coastal plains, rolling hills, forests, and scattered towns, creating mixed fields of fire. Open areas like farmland and airfields support long-range engagements, while forests and terrain folds break visibility into shorter, fragmented engagements. Elevation offers intermittent overwatch but rarely full dominance.
          2. Avenues of Approach. Movement is guided by a strong road network linking towns and military sites. Primary roads allow fast movement but are predictable and vulnerable. Secondary roads, trails, and forests support flanking and infiltration. Bridges, forest roads, and town entry points form natural chokepoints.
          3. Key Terrain. Key terrain centers on infrastructure and local elevation. Airfields, bases, towns, and radio towers are decisive. Low hills and forest edges overlooking roads or open ground provide effective overwatch. Coastal areas are important for controlling access and supply.
          4. Cover and Concealment. Cover is strongest in urban areas and compounds. Outside them, infantry rely on concealment from forests, hedgerows, and micro-terrain. Forests conceal well but offer limited protection. Vehicles must use hull-down positions and avoid exposure in open terrain.
        2. Weather. Cold with possible rain
        3. Time and Light Conditions. Sunrise

    1. Enemy Forces.
      1. Size. Insurgent forces are decentralized but cohesive, organized into local guerrilla cells under a loose command structure. Manpower is concentrated in towns, key infrastructure, and along major routes, with the ability to rapidly reinforce or disperse as needed.
      2. Capabilities. Insurgent units employ a mixed inventory of small arms, including AK-pattern rifles, older Western weapons, and light machine guns. Heavier assets are limited but include RPGs and vehicle-mounted machine guns on technicals. They lack heavy armor and rely on light, mobile platforms. Mobility is primarily civilian vehicles and small boats, with no meaningful air or integrated air defense capability.
      3. Recent Activity. Insurgent forces have conducted frequent guerrilla-style operations, including ambushes and raids, while also employing heavy machinery to construct fortified positions. Activity indicates deliberate preparation of defensive strongpoints oriented on key terrain and likely avenues of approach.
      4. Expected Course of Action. Insurgents may avoid decisive engagements, relying on ambushes and hit-and-run tactics to inflict casualties. They are likely to defend key terrain briefly before withdrawing and repositioning, trading space for time while maintaining pressure on friendly forces.
    2. Friendly Forces
      1. Higher Units. N/A
      2. Adjacent Units. N/A
      3. Supporting Units. N/A
    3. Civilian Considerations. Civilian presence is not likely in the area. All civilians in military areas are assumed to be hostile and should be detained.
    4. Attachments/Detachments.  N/A
    5.  Mission.

The 10th Ranger Regiment has been tasked with conducting offensive operations to disrupt insurgent control of the northern Everon region and degrade their sustainment network. Multiple POIs have been identified for targeted raids.

POI001 is a fortified peninsula. Insurgent forces have restricted access by land through the construction of a large defensive wall, creating a controlled strongpoint with limited entry points. The area likely serves as a staging or fallback position.

POI002 is a power plant supplying electricity to nearby insurgent positions and surrounding civilian infrastructure. The 10th Ranger Regiment is tasked with destroying the facility to deny power to insurgent operations in the region.

POI003 is a network of outposts positioned along the outskirts of insurgent-held territory. These positions provide troop sustainment and early warning, enabling layered defense of interior areas.

POI004 is a farm complex currently being used for ammunition storage. The site is lightly structured but operationally significant, likely supporting nearby combat units.

POI005 is an ex-Soviet military base repurposed for insurgent housing and vehicle storage. The location serves as a key logistics and staging hub.

The 10th Ranger Regiment will conduct raids on designated POIs to disrupt insurgent operations and locate, capture, or eliminate an HVI identified as Marek Vlasov. HUMINT and SATCOM information suggest the HVI will be located inside POI001, POI003, or POI005.
