    Operation Fox

    Execute: 10/12/2025

    Task Organization: 10RR

    Subsets: NEPTUNE, TF APOLLO

    1. Situation
    2. Area of Interest - AO Oxen
    3. Terrain Farkhar Valley, Egypt
    4. Obstacles & Fields of Fire. Farkhar Valley is a narrow river basin hemmed by steep mountains and rocky slopes. Open fields of fire are limited to the valley floor, while ridgelines dominate long-range engagements. Terrain and rock formations restrict vehicle movement but offer strong defensive positions.
    5. Avenues of Approach. Movement is channeled along the main river road, with few secondary tracks into the mountains. Flanking routes are steep, exposed, and slow, making control of road junctions and villages vital for maneuver.
    6. Key Terrain. Ridgelines and high ground overlooking the valley command key routes and settlements. River crossings and central villages serve as natural choke points. Elevated plateaus near the valley mouth provide strong staging areas.
    7. Cover and Concealment. Rocky terrain, walled compounds, and riverside vegetation offer good cover and concealment. Reverse slopes and defilades support hidden movement, though crossing open farmland exposes troops to observation and fire.
    8. Weather. Hot and Dry
    9. Time and Light Conditions. Commanders Intent

    1. Enemy Forces.
    2. Size. Enemy elements are dense in numbers, with any civilian potentially being an enemy combatant
    3. Capabilities. Enemy weaponry includes old Soviet bloc weaponry, from AKMs and PKMs to sparse M16s and M249s. RPGs and mounted emplacements are common sights. Enemy armor is heavily limited to makeshift technicals and poorly maintained Soviet light armor.
    4. Recent Activity. The enemy has been largely growing in number and actively fighting the UN presence in the region.
    5. Expected Course of Action. Enemies are likely to defend their positions and inflict maximum damage on Allied Forces before retreating to other positions.
    6. Friendly Forces
    7. Higher Units. N/A
    8. Adjacent Units. N/A
    9. Supporting Units. N/A

    10. Civilian Considerations. Civilians are to be expected in most areas.

    12.  Mission.

The 10th Ranger Regiment has been permanently deployed to North Sudan following operations taking place on OCT04, which entailed rescuing multiple UN doctors from rebel militia forces.

Acting on intel gathered from rescued personnel, the 10th Ranger Regiment will deploy to AO Oxen to capture multiple HVIs and deliver them to local United Nations troops for interrogation, believing at least one of them to have intel on a key militia leader. Two POIs have been identified by HUMINT

POI001 is a small city built densely into a rock formation, with all sides except east and west being blocked by large stones. Four different potential HVI locations have been identified throughout the town.

POI002 is a cluster of sparsely occupied towns, with large rolling hills between each location. Three different HVI locations have been identified in the POI.

Following the capture and transport of the HVIs, the 10th Ranger Regiment will reorient to the new location and capture the key HVI alive.
